Medical Cooperation between two Kingdoms

In the course of cooperation between Princess Al- Jawhara Center of Excellence in Research of Hereditary Disorders - Jeddah and Princess Al- Jawhara Centre of Molecular Medicine, Genetics and Inherited Diseases -Bahrain, Dr Nabeel Bondagji, Deputy Director for Technical and Academic Affairs at the former, paid a visit to the Center in Bahrain on February 18-27, 2009.

During the course of the visit, Prof. Bakheet, Director of the Bahrain Center, made a presentation for Dr. Bondagji about the Center's mission and vision in addition to the facilities and capabilities.

Moreover, Dr. Bondagji visited the new building under construction and was briefed about future plans for the Center and its operation.

In the second meeting between the two centers, Dr. Jumana Al-Aama visited Prof. Bakheet in Bahrain on May 16 -17, 2009. The two directors discussed the future possible cooperation between the centers in the field of scientific research. Plans will be set to best facilitate this cooperation and Prof. Bakheet was invited to visit his counterpart in Jeddah.
