Medical Genetics elective course for Medical students held at PACER-HD

Under the supervision of Prof. Ashraf Harouni, an elective course for 4th year Medical students was held at PACER-HD, titled "Medical Genetics" from Monday 27/2/2011 until Wednesday 9/3/2011. It included lectures given by Prof. Ashraf on the diagnosis and genetic counseling of different genetic disorders, such as Down syndrome.  In addition to tutorials given by PACER-HD staff members on various subjects, including how to draw a pedigree, introduction to basic molecular techniques, as well as a rotation in the center's molecular labs.
