Introduction

The scientific research is one of the most important fundamentals in the framework of comprehensive strategies that both of PACER-HD at KAAU in KSA and Princess Al-Jawhara centre for molecular medicine, genetics and inherited diseases at the Arabian Gulf University in the Kingdom of Bahrain are involved in. Hence the importance of the existing cooperation between these two institutions leads to the scientific exchange of experiences and to identify the latest findings in the area of competence of each of them. This is to harness and benefit from it in the service of the two brotherly countries and the national and international societies. The Awareness of both centers of the importance of communication in the achievement of their mission has built a solid bridge of cooperation between them including the exchange of scientific visits and integration of ideas, concepts and experiences as well as the transfer of knowledge and seeking to implement joint projects with a view to achieving mutual aspirations and great objectives.
