Down Syndrome Awareness Day

 As one of the major mission of PACER-HD in spreading awareness towards common genetic disorders, and in celebration of the international Down Syndrome Day, A Down Syndrome Awareness Day was held in cooperation with the Medical Genetics Department, on Wednesday 4/5/2011 in the main auditorium at Kind Abdul-Aziz University Hospital.
The event included several valuable lectures presented by academic staff in the faculty of medicine – KAU, in addition to some plays presented by children from Help Center and Badghish Center.
The day was concluded by some entertainment activities for Down Syndrome Children.
